- Ramada unlimited, its only $65 a night.
- The Victoria Hotel (Little Collins Street) has a long-standing reputation for being a city hotel with a country hotel feel. Their nightly rates can be under $100 per night. Obviously, NOT during Melbourne Cup/AFL Grand Final, etc.
- Yes I guess that price for Ramada is good, but there are also heaps of backpacker places.

- You could try the Mantra apartments at 31 City Rd Southbank. Another good one is the Punt Hill apartments in Flinders Lane.
- lol if you had the money Crown. or if your like me i find the backpackers reli nice, its only about 30 for a room to yourself. and you meet the most intresting people from all over the world.
